I actually took this picture on the 5th, and then I forgot to upload it! Anyway, here’s what my hair looks like five months after the shave!

OH HELLO THERE. REMEMBER ME?

It’s been exactly four months since the shave, so I figured I’d show y’all my rockin’ hair. Shannah thinks it needs styling, but in my opinion there’s still kind of nothing to style so far? I do like it, but I also really miss it not being there. Part of me keeps wanting to take a razor to it.

SO. Here’s an important update on the future of Sing it Forward, since there is so much to do. I still owe you:

• The video of me with the zit on my face
• The video I took of AMTA itself
• A video of me shaving my legs in an elevator

The good news is that I 100% have the footage for those first two videos (I actually have so much AMTA footage, it’s ridiculous. I’ll probably end up making an outtakes video to go along with it, and it will be LONG). I haven’t gotten around to editing them yet because the moment I got home from AMTA I had midterms and then I suddenly had a job and then I inexplicably decided to do NaNoWriMo (which I won, by the way) and now it’s finals and THINGS HAVE BEEN BUSY. I am, however, working on that in between studying, finishing projects, and recording a cappella Christmas songs.

As for the elevator one: I have yet to find an elevator in which I can actually do this. I’m still asking around, though, and will keep you updated on this. It doesn’t seem fair to make you guys wait forever, though, so I have created a deadline for myself. All SiF challenges must be completed by:

March 9, 2013.

I know that seems completely arbitrary, but I have a few reasons for it.

• It’s not so close that I have zero chance of actually fulfilling my goal.
• I asked a few people if they thought it was unreasonably far away, and they said it seemed like a reasonable enough date.
• It happens to be my birthday that day. I feel like I should make SiF a thing that 18-year-old Molly did. Symbolism or something.
• Birthday season is a good time to rake in extra cash. This is good because …

I have a penalty for myself if I don’t finish by March 9th: I have to donate $50 to a music-centric charity that you guys will be able to vote upon. It only seems fair that if I fail a challenge, I forfeit my money. Right?

That said, if I do fail, I will still try my best to get the elevator thing done. I know a lot of people were excited for it, and I really do want to pull it off. I just won’t be under a deadline anymore.

I think that’s all the updates for now. Thanks again for being so amazing. The conference was one of the best experiences of my life, and I’ll never forget it.
